Motorcycle helmet

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) offers a funded course for all motorcyclists.

Biker Down aims to improve understanding about what to do and how to help if you find yourself at the scene of a road traffic collision.

About the training

A Biker Down session is 3 hours.

It is delivered in person at the NFRS Training and Development Centre in Norwich.

The session uses the skills and knowledge of operational fire and rescue strategies. It seeks to improve understanding across three modules:

  1. Incident management
  2. Casualty care/helmet removal
  3. Thinking biker

Visit the Biker Down website to find out more about the course and what's covered in each of the modules.
