Together on the learning to drive journey

On 30 April 2025, Norfolk County Council Road Safety and Norfolk Constabulary partnered with Warwickshire Road Safety to host an online event for learner drivers and parents navigating the 'learning to drive' journey.

The event offered tips and strategies from a panel of experts across Approved Driving Instructors, DVSA and a Road Policing Officer.

The modules covered:

• Driving lessons and choosing an approved driving instructor
• Responsibilities when offering supervised driving sessions and private practice
• DVSA and the ready to pass campaign
• Question and answer session

Future events

Future events including a 'recently passed driving' event will be advertised during the year.

New drivers, parents and carers will be able to book their place when the events are launched and advertised.
