The scheme has:

  • 11 two-bed affordable rent apartments.

Adjacent to the site, Lovells Later Living are also building bungalows for sale, available for those aged 55 and over.

Facilities on site will include:

  • a café
  • hairdresser
  • activity room
  • communal lounge
  • assisted bathroom
  • resident and guest parking with electric charging points
  • mobility scooter storage
  • communal gardens.

Residents will have peace of mind with 24/7 on-site care and support.

Located near a range of local amenities and services, the scheme is an ideal location for Independent Living and is only a short walk to the nearest bus stop, providing regular services to other local areas.

Here's how to begin your application:

  1. You can contact Norfolk County Council either by:

  1. Someone will then contact you within 3-5 days to have a more detailed conversation about your circumstances, the eligibility criteria for the scheme, and the next steps, where appropriate, for progressing to a care and support assessment. They will also be able to advise you on costs for the scheme and any required financial assessments.

Priority for the scheme will be given to individuals with existing eligible care needs. However, depending on demand, applicants aged 55 and over who currently live in the local district and can demonstrate that they would benefit from living at Lavender View may also be considered. This could include those with a long-term condition likely to result in eligible care needs, or those whose age or frailty means they would benefit from a supportive community environment.

The show home for the scheme is now open and gives people a chance to really feel what the new apartments will be like to live in. Please note that viewings to the show home are by appointment only, so we kindly ask that you wait for an invitation to visit as part of your assessment or decision-making process. You can see photos in the gallery on this page.
