Book the registrar for your marriage or civil partnership ceremony

We advise you to read the information on the step by step guide, ceremonies and give notice pages before proceeding with your booking.

Saturdays in the summer are the most popular ceremony slots, so we encourage you to book as early as possible for these dates.

The system shows all available dates and times for ceremonies. If the time you are looking to book is not showing it's because there is no availability. You will need to choose another available time or date.

We are accepting bookings via the online booking system until the end of 2027. We look forward to receiving your booking and helping you celebrate in Norfolk.

Approved venue bookings

Once you have selected your venue, date and time please go ahead and confirm your booking. If you click the back button at any point, your ceremony may show as unavailable when you go to select it again. If this happens please wait for a little while, go back into the system and try again.

This booking is just for the registrars to attend your ceremony, it is not a booking for the venue as well. You must speak to your chosen venue first to discuss their availability and fees, then make sure a registrar will be available before you confirm the booking with your venue.

Norwich Castle and other ceremony rooms

You can book a ceremony at Norwich Castle and at some of our other ceremony rooms such as The Vancouver Suite in our King's Lynn registration office using our online booking system.

Small ceremonies in working offices

Smalls ceremonies in working registration offices are held on Monday mornings in Great Yarmouth, King's Lynn and Norwich. These ceremonies are only for the couple and two witnesses to attend.

Ceremonies are in high demand, and the next available dates are expected to be around Summer 2026. To enquire about a small office ceremony, complete the ceremony enquiry form.
