Senior Leadership Team job roles
About the Senior Leadership Team
Senior management roles within the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) work together. They ensure all teams are confident in delivering outstanding services for children and families.
Senior managers ensure that services:
- Are delivered effectively and consistently
- Meet the needs of families
- Achieve high-quality standards
- Protect children
- Comply with Ofsted requirements
- Follow budgetary constraints
Senior managers also work together operationally and with colleagues across Children's Services. This is to support wider transformation work and manage the sufficiency of placements for children in care.

Many of our managers began their careers in entry level positions. They have worked their way up through various roles within the service. This is by gaining experience in a range of different areas and building a varied skill set.
