Child exploitation

Support to help keep children safe from exploitation

We can help if a child is at risk of exploitation. We work with families to help keep children safe.

Ways we can help

Family help teams

A child may be given a family practitioner or social worker. They will look at what's going on and help reduce worries about exploitation.

Risk outside the home team

This team helps children who may be at higher risk. A social worker or family practitioner will work with the child and family to help keep them safe.

Targeted youth support service

This team works directly with children. They help children learn about risks, build healthy relationships, and take part in positive activities.
