Norfolk Armed Forces Covenant

Norfolk's Armed Forces Covenant was signed at an official ceremony on 7 March 2012.

An Armed Forces Covenant is a voluntary statement of mutual support between a civilian community and the local armed forces community.

Norfolk County Council has signed the Covenant Pledge (PDF) [211KB] to demonstrate its support, as an employer, to the armed forces community.

We have been awarded a Gold Award (opens new window) from the Ministry of Defence in national recognition of our commitment to support the armed forces community through our employment practices.
