Book your wedding ceremony

To book your ceremony you will need:

  • The name of your preferred venue
  • Your details
  • Your partner's details
  • The date and time you wish to book the ceremony

All booking requests are managed on a first come first served basis.

Registration office venue

To book one of our registration offices use the ceremony enquiry form.

Approved venue

If you choose to be married at one of our approved venues you should first discuss with the venue the availability of your preferred date and time. 

Once you have agreed a provisional date with the venue you will need to book your registrar using the ceremony enquiry form

You should do this before confirming and placing a deposit with the venue.


A £100 non-refundable reservation fee is payable at the time of booking.  This fee forms part of the total amount payable.  For full details visit Ceremony fees.

Giving notice

Before you can get married you need to make an appointment to give ‘notice of marriage’.
