Marriage and civil partnership fees

Here's a run down of what it will cost to have registrars officiate at your marriage or civil partnership ceremony in Norfolk. The fees you pay are dependent on the location of your ceremony.

Marry in Norfolk fees

Approved venues (including outdoor ceremonies)

As well as our attendance fees, approved venues will have their own fees which you'll need to factor into your budget. Prices include a non-refundable reservation fee of £200.

Registration Offices ceremony suites and the Rambouillet Room ceremony suite

Costs are for the ceremony suites at Diss, Great Yarmouth Library and King's Lynn and for the Rambouillet Room at Great Yarmouth Town Hall. Prices include a non-refundable reservation fee of £200. The fee includes the room hire and the registrars conducting the ceremony.

Any Place Duo celebration

These costs cover the legal ceremony with the couple and two witnesses and a celebration ceremony at a venue of your choice. It also includes the premises inspection fee. The prices listed below are 'from' prices and are subject to change depending on the venue chosen for the legal ceremony.  Find out more about the types of ceremony we offer.

Small ceremonies in working offices

There is a fee of £56 for a small ceremony in a working office in Great Yarmouth, King's Lynn and Norwich.

Evening ceremonies

There's an additional fee of £50 for ceremonies held after 5pm.

Marriage certificates

Marriage certificates cost £12.50 each.

Once we have entered your marriage into the electronic register, we will produce and post your certificate to you within seven days of the schedule/document being returned to our office. You will no longer receive a marriage certificate at the ceremony. All certificates will be produced electronically and are no longer handwritten.
