Health and wellbeing support services

Support is available to help working‑age adults look after their physical and mental health at every stage of working

Ready to Change

Support to live a healthier lifestyle, including eating well, managing weight, keeping active, stopping smoking and managing alcohol use.

NHS Health Checks

Free NHS Health Checks for eligible adults aged 40-74 to support good cardiovascular health.

MSK support

Norfolk and Waveney Community Musculoskeletal Service, including physiotherapy, specialist services and self‑help resources.

Self Care for shift workers

Practical advice on sleep, diet, exercise, driving, medication and managing relationships (HSE).

Ageing Well

Information and support to help protect the health of working‑age adults, including vaccinations, health screening and safer driving, throughout the working life cycle.

Mental health and wellbeing

Information, advice and support for adult mental wellbeing in Norfolk, including the Five Ways to Wellbeing and talking therapies.

Drug and alcohol support

Information, support and treatment services for adults with drug and alcohol issues.

Support is available for people who need help to participate in working life due to health, disability or life circumstances.

Working Well Norfolk

Support for adults with disabilities or health barriers and other disadvantages to start and stay in work through the Connect to Work.

Local Supported Employment

Support for adults with learning disability, autism, physical disabilities and care leavers to find and stay in work through Connect to Work.
